- Money Matters presented by TD Business Banking Account Manager, Heidi Specht
We all have the best intentions to save what's left over after the expenses are covered, but take a tip from the richest entrepreneurs: the secret to building your savings is to pay yourself first. Heidi breaks down this game-changing habit. Heidi is a Small Business Advisor at TD, whose goal it is to help business owners spend less time banking and more time focusing on what they do best: building their business.
- Eating for more energy presented by BHK, RNCP, Nutritionist, Food Creator and Ski Mom Tracy Higgs
Finally, some simple solutions to the complex world of nutrition. Choosing the right foods for the right reasons will give you more energy to get through your busy day.Tracy has taught at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and coached Olympic athletes on their nutritional needs. Her personalized nutrition coaching addresses the challenges of balancing work and family while trying to stay healthy.
- Keep calm and find more time presented by Christine Suter BA, RMT, NCCP, Life and Triathlon Coach
Time management can be a misleading term. Time manages itself, but you can manage the events in your life as efficiently as possible, so that you have enough time for everything you want to accomplish. Plus a few simple techniques can keep you calm in the process. Christine facilitates a life skills course for Whistler Community Services and offers a multisport coaching for athletes of all abilities and age groups, as well as personal training, rehabilitation training and life coaching.
- Take a yoga break anywhere presented by Maeve Jones, Whistler Yoga Cara Teacher. Simple yoga-based techniques you can use to break up your day anywhere: home, work, car, and more - no mat or stretchy pants required. Maeve shares tools to break through illusions of mundane life and connect with a deeper, peaceful self. Expect smiles, warmth, connection, and stimulation as Maeve shares her love of yoga.
