The Science of Health, Happiness and Productivity

Whistler, January 31, 2017 – This February, Women of Whistler Powered by the Whistler Chamber is bringing speaker Catherine Roscoe Barr, BSc Neuroscience and founder of The Life Delicious, to Whistler for an exploration into the science of health, happiness, and productivity. The event is being held at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, from 6-8pm on Wednesday, February 15. Tickets start at $40 and can be bought online:

“We think this is the perfect event during a busy winter,” explains Lynn Gadsby, Women of Whistler Chair. “A lot of the women that come to our events are on a leadership track or own their own business. This event will give them techniques and rituals that they can use to make their lives smoother and healthier as they continue to push forward with their businesses.”

The purpose of this evening is to help event goers reduce and transform stress, apply principles of neuroscience and positive psychology to super-charge their brain, harness the horsepower of physical activity to boost focus, and improve learning and memory. They’ll gain practical, science-based intel and walk away with an inspired mind that understands how practicing mindfulness can transform their health, happiness, and productivity.

Key Takeaways:

  •  Powerful AM/PM rituals for healthy sleep hygiene
    •    Delicious (not deprived) nutrition tips to elevate mental and physical performance
    •    A personalized action plan to help achieve holistic success
